The
conducting elements are pure copper foil,
the leads are pure solid silver, and combined
with the other exclusive materials used
for this capacitor line, we feel that this
is one of the best sounding capacitors you
will find. Copper gives the sound more depth
- a kind of a third dimension. You still
get good value-for-money with the copper
foil, because it gives you significant improvement
in sound reproduction compared to aluminium,
and at the same time, the price is manageable.
Other values and tensions are available,
but as these are non stock items, with some
delay. |

paper in oil
audio signal capacitors
Paper
in oil dielectric high voltage foil capacitors
for coupling applications in tube
or solid state audio equipments.
Many audiophiles think that the oil capacitors
sound warm.
They simply sound correct, with the harmonic
richness of the live music.
•
Paper in oil dielectric aluminium or copper
foil capacitors
• 630V good for coupling applications
in tube or solid state audio equipments.
• Terminal leads are solder-sealed to
eyelets in the end-discs.
• The terminal connected to the outer
foil, the foil closest to the can, is always
marked with a vertical line
on the marking.
• Capacitors are encased in aluminium
tube (hermetically sealed) with phenolic paper/rubber
covers.
• Tolerance: 0.1uF or less is -20/+30%,
greater than 0.1uF is -10/+20%.
• Operating temperature range is -40/+85°C
• Max. ripple voltage is the sum of the
peak ripple voltage and the applied DC voltage
should not exceed the DC rating
of the capacitor.
• Power factor (loss factor) is tg <
0.008 at 1 kHz
